Mrs. Sabina Maharjan

Sabina Maharjan is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with an MPhil in Clinical Psychology from Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH). She brings over five years of experience at the Transcultural Psychosocial Organization Nepal (TPO Nepal), where she currently serves asClinical Coordinator and Clinical Supervisor. Guided by a deep commitment to care, dignity, and healing, Ms. Maharjan works closely with individuals and communities experiencing psychological distress. She has extensive experience in psychological assessment and the use of psycho-diagnostic tools, and her clinical practice is grounded in evidence-based, culturally sensitive approaches. She primarily practices Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care, supporting clients to regain emotional balance, resilience, and hope.

Alongside her clinical work, Ms. Maharjan is dedicated to strengthening the mental health workforce. She provides compassionate clinical supervision and mentorship to Counselors and Psychologists, fostering ethical, reflective, and effective practice. She is also trained in facilitating group-based psychological interventions such as Problem Management Plus (PM+), Early Adolescent Skills for Emotions (EASE), and Group Healing Interventions, ensuring accessible and meaningful mental health support for diverse populations.
