Mr. Piyush Gautam is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in community mental health, psychosocial support, research, and disability rights. Holding an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from the Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University, Teaching Hospital, Kathamndu, he provides psychodiagnostic evaluations and evidence-based psychotherapy at the Brain and Neuroscience Center Nepal.
He is among the first to serve as psychology officer under government bond. He is also working physically at Rapti provincial hospital dang. In addition to his clinical work, Mr. Gautam serves as a guest lecturer and passionate about advancing mental health care and disability rights, engaging in research and advocacy to improve access to psychological services, particularly for marginalised and underserved populations.
