Dr Jasmine Ma has obtained her MBBS degree from the Kathmandu University, Nepal and specialized in Psychiatry (MD) from Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Kathmandu. Dr Jasmine completed her PhD from the Regional Centre for Child and Youth Mental Health and Child Welfare -North, UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Tromsø, Norway. Dr. Jasmine’s PhD project was about Child Mental Health in Nepal involving 3820 participants from different geographical locations of Nepal. Dr. Ma is currently working in Child Workers in Nepal- Concerned Centre as a program director of the CWIN-run Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit in Kanti Children’s Hospital. Dr Jasmine has published three articles on her PhD project. She is also one of the trainers in training health professionals in Child Protection, Recognition and Response in Nepal since 2017.
