Marcus Rodriguez is the Global Mental Health Research Lab director and Associate Professor of Psychology at Pitzer College. As a scholar, his primary aim is to provide new insights into effective ways of increasing access to mental health care in an economical, feasible and scalable manner. He is also the founder and director of the Youth and Family Institute - Los Angeles (https://youthandfamilyinstitute.com/). As a clinician, Dr. Rodriguez specializes in delivering Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in English, Spanish and Mandarin to adults, adolescents and families. He has co-led DBT training for thousands of mental health professionals throughout China, Latin America, and the United States.
