Psycho-Oncology Bhaktapur is an ongoing collaborative initiative led by the Brain and Neuroscience Center and implemented at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital. Launched in August 2025, the project was developed in collaboration with Dr. Rishav Koirala, the funding partner, and Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital, with the aim of integrating mental health care into oncology services.
The unit provides regular psychiatric and psychological services, with two psychiatrists visiting once a week and one clinical psychologist visiting twice a week.
